Any mechanical problems with these bikes?

98/99/00/01 R1s, 99/00/01 ZX12Rs, 00/01/02 CBR900s, 01/02 ZX900s or even the Triumph 955.ive heard the R1s have a weak gearbox and clutch basket (i dunno if its true or not) any info on the others would be a help.

the triumph is a nice bike,but if sumthin does go wrong it would cost alot more to repair mate.the 01 r1 would be sweet,yamaha had 3 years to sort out the bugs.;)

but how could ya not buy it at that price,think of how many cans of matt black you could buy with the left over cash.Sure its in China but Chalk has contacts over there so he should be able to help ya translate the transaction.

YEha thats a clutch up probs, exactly the same prob with the R6, but its cheap to fix i hear.
