Check these Vincents out. The Club was having it's annual run in Dareton over this weekend. Only a small percentage of bikes were at the Caravan Park when I turned up as the rest were out on the road. All day the V twins have been thumping past my house.

Sorry about the size of the pics, once again struggling with resizing, damn computers....

Full of Rye Whisky and now all things are clear and I can once again resize pics.

These machines would of had to been the street fighters of the 1930's.

Actually that last one is a Norvin isnt it? I thought they were a recently engineered hybrid of a Norton and a Vincent built by some English company. Just have some pot clouded memory of reading it somewhere... then again I could be wrong... wouldnt be the first time :D

Norvins have been around for years. the earliest one I know of was from the mid sixties, and it wouldn't have been the first.


PS both the last 2 are Norvins, and they're series B's or later. The Vincent had a spine frame, similar to the GPz actually, not a cradle. And the rear end on a standard Vincent is a monoshock, with Girder style front ends, and side/centre stand attached to the front end.
