Ok guys, I'm looking for lighter parts for the bike.

If you have any late model stuff like forks, wheels,s/arms, brakes (disc+calipers)lying around could you do me a favour and weigh them and let me know.

I have dropped about 15-20kg from stock so far(mainly from the standard mufflers & centre stand).

I know she'll never be a lightweight, but short of wrapping an ali frame around it (mmmm food for thought) its a case of a little bit here, little bit there.

I hope (once it's rego'd in QLD) to remove the rear subframe/seatrails and get something made in aluminium.

I'm looking at keeping the classic twin shock/right way up forks but want to upgrade everything.
I'm thinking about shorter rear shocks to match with new forks as most sportsbikes are lacking in length [:0].
Try to sharpen up the steering a bit then as well.
Will certainly look at R1/6 stuff as it must be lighter.
