G'day, n00b here. Looks like you guys had a great time. I was that guy at the Halfway Roadhouse wearing the Marlboro jacket and riding the Rat Camo TDM850. I hope those cable ties I donated held up for whoever's flat black GSXR ignition barrel fell off. (I've forgotten names already)
I was cruisinging along happily on the Putty when Chalk (I think that's him, GPZ900)came past me and scared fuckers out of me! I wasn't paying any real attention to my mirrors, so it was my own fault really. I would have taken down his number plate, but it seemed to be missing... ;)
It was good to meet a few of you. I thought I would come and join up because my '04 R1 really has too much plastic on it and I need some ideas.
So before I hijack this thread too much, I'll go start my own and introduce myself properly...

Cheers,
Lee

It was off a Harley......what more can I say

Personally I think it was possessed unlike all the other scientific expansion and contraction theories......

18-04-2006, 03:15 PM
Yeah, I checked my lights the other day, and there's a stone in one, plus a hole in the lens. Guess who put that in there Turbo?[:o)]

I reckon you're headlight was hit by one of the stones you were spraying out the back all weekend, just took a farkin long time to come down.:D[:o)];)

I'm going with the sniper on the grassy knoll theory myself, or maybe it was the Kwaka rejecting it, or maybe Foxy's right, or Chalky, or Deano, or........

Yes kids, sticky race compound tyres [u]DO</u> pick up little bitty stones & fling them into the atmosphere so they can come down & break your headlights, but Chalky, I think yours was more to do with the fact that when you sit behind someone, you like to sit RIGHT behind them. ;)

18-04-2006, 08:46 PM
rule number 1: never ride behind a streetfighter if you value your headlights.
i just leave mine broken coz i've learnt my lesson,or i just stay up front and throw rocks at every1 else.;)

Weeeell somebody's got to get you moving mate. :D
Tell you what, the Kwaka pulls harder now, the new cam has really spruced her up[^]. We'll have to tee up another run along the Putty some time. And the new brake lines mean I won't come so close to running up the back of you again.[:I]

That shit about you being a pizza delivery boy reminded me Puppet. I found this the other day. Unfortunately I was too pissed to hold the camera the right way and also it was pitch black which is obviously why I haven't bothered before, but I think the excitement in the lads voices says it all. So for all those that missed the rerun of THE UNDIE JUMP here is the sound track if nothing else:
