Battery Help

Guess what I forgot to repair after the AFR!
My battery and carrier!
I just got to work and was going down the drive when the carrier let go and I ran over the battery and finally fucked it.
What I want to do is put it up in the chassis under the seat and use a gel type battery. What Gel type battery do the new bikes use?

go to battery allsorts and tell them what you have now and they will give you(in exchange for cash) a gel battery to suit:D

two feet off the ground!! (ok both feet off the ground on the footpegs) and I try to avoid this driveway as much as possible but the bank manager reckons i need to pay back the loan. go figure, fucken indian giver!

A lot of guys are using newer model R1 batteries - they're gel type apparently and pretty small.

they come in all shapes and sizes. doesnt matter what you get since you are relocating it, just make sure the cca match your battery now, and the first charge procedure, and any charger is very specific. If you let your battery die all the way down you will ruin it. I have a tiny sealed batter from a yam xt225 and it cranks my gpz750 just fine. They also make these "battery delete" kits for race bikes. Its a big capacitor that stores up a charge while you ride and will hold it when the bikes shut off. If you need to run a really small battery you could add one maybe.
