Heres My New Sub Frame

heres the new sub frame, ive got to do some more work on a battery box, its tight in that subby, not alot of room, and a little tig welding, a undertray has to be fabed as well.

the thing is basicly all there, the bike is filthy though, I guess thats me own fault taking out in the last few weeks when it was warmer but there was still lots of filth on the god damn Roads

At this time its all bolted together, but im gonna ride it over to my friends when the weather gets alittle better and he can tig it up for me

But on a more serious note, we had a story on a current affairs show last night talking about how Vancouver is like Pot Smokers heaven and BC Bud is the strongest dope in the world. True or False ? coz it looked like pretty average buds to me... Some of the guys they showed need a lesson in trimming heads from a good ozzie stoner mate :D

its all bolted right now but, im gonna take it arround my firneds place and tig the bike up here N there.

1am here and I just finished puting it back together, I think Im gonna have to remake the sub frame rails cause I just couldnt get the battery in, so I bolted the battery box sides on the out side, maybe if I drilled lots of holes in the batery sides kinda perforated them it would look kinda neat, either that or just remake the subframe rails again and include the batery box sides in the cut out, it took alot of work cutting them holes, so maybe when I actually feel Ive got it right Ill get them laser cut.

That's not a bad idea. Then you could just change the battery box instead. Definitely not right on the outside mate. Looks like an after thought (which I guess it was really)

yeah I guess the only way to deal with it is just get some new ones Lazer cut with battery sides all in one peice

That tail unit might look good on an 1100EF project I wouldn't mind doing

Why dont you just move the battery?
I moved mine under the carbs and under the tank there was heaps of
room and just had to knock up a new box(i love knockn up new boxes)
and the wiring all reached so i didnt have to mod it at all.

I was concerned with heat, I tried the battery under the tank anyway, but theres no real room couse of the large pretruding GIXER 1000 GAS pump that I had welded in the bottom of the 750 tank, therewasnt even enough room for the rectifyer
