A picture lifted from the Australian Hayabusa site. On Lake Gairdner it's 2 miles get to speed, 2 miles to record your speed and 2 miles to slow down....

Another pic. Got to love the weather, here in Mildura, Broken Hill, up north in SA it's great. Been back from Tassie for well over a month, not a drop of rain to ruin ride days.

That's what my old Z used to look like after an average winter. That salt on the UK roads used to eat bikes for breakfast. They're some cool shots.

Where exactly is that Rich ?

And stop going on about what great riding weather it is... I have to stare out the window and wish the bandit was finished. On a brighter note... she actually had something to say the other day. Back end is done so we popped the exhaust on and fired her up... All sounding and looking good so far... just taking too long.

Ozkat, I'm with you on the GS1000. Something special about that one, fantasic pic can stare at it for ages....

Razor, Lake Gairdner is in the middle of no where, well in the middle of no where South Oz. Wouldn't be a bad trip from Mildura but have been told the general public pretty well much watches the speed runs through binoculars because your so far back from the track for safety reasons. The Busa's are Kings doing approximately 350km/h +.

Maybe, but I'd have to part with the Busa first.... and that may cause aggravated domestic friction as Maria loves the bike.
