picked it up today, rather cheap :D (very very cheap) complete with a trailer load of spares. Perfect bodywork but the tank needs respraying, even the EFI still works. 100% original cept for the exhaust. Now what do i do with it? Restore it to original? (there cant be that may of these left running around) Or tart it up an flog it off.

The Tassie Trader strike again. My knowledge of the old GPZ's is pretty limited to say the least and as I can't read the side panel badge I can't put my finger on what it is. It's not the 750 turbo but I can't put my finger on it. By the way, don't let Rexie see that mate....

Aha! A worthwhile cause then. I had a horrible feeling it was an '84 550 or something. Much better.

I use to have one the same as that, we called them Coca cola kawasakis cause they are red, and standard the sticker on the bodywork went full length of the bike and had the same pattern as a coke can, just a bit of trivia [^] ;)

Good mate had one just like it Oz. Back in the day when I would tail him around on my RG250. Amazingly when I look back now I see what a visionary he was (must have been all the tabs we did). He ripped all the plastic off, put on a twin headlight and a 4into1 and this was back in 84/85. Had it gloss black all over with 1087 written on the tail. Could well have been Australias first streetfighter without even knowing he did it, we all thought he was just weird :D

Glad you colour co-ordinate your accessories with your phone mate, although I'd hardly call a Bimota an accessory!

Tasty. I got an 83' 750R bike with spares on Monday. Just need a good set of front discs and alot of hard work. They are a great bike the uni-traks . They lend to fightering real easy.
