Hi all, Ben Shaw put me onto this site, and was going to post an ad for me, but I thought I¡¦d save him the trouble ƒº

Looking to sell a pair of 320mm aftermarket discs (cast iron rotors fully floating on ally carriers) which Ben tells me in the bolt pattern for a pre-96¡¦ GSXR (750 or 1100). In very good condition, with a lot of life left ¡V contact me for photos if needed.

While they owe me a lot more, I¡¦d accept $300 for them. I¡¦m in Sydney, and can arrange pick-up or will post nationally. As none of you know me from a bar of soap, feel free to check my e-bay feedback under the same user name.

Please e-mail me directly, or phone me on 0414 770084.

Thanks,
Brian

PS Incidentally, I ride a modified ZXR750M ; not a streetfighter, but I like it anyway

Hey Brian. Yea mate, a picture would be good - you'll probably shift them in no time. You're welcome here mate and especially if Ben sent you. Cheers.

I'm pretty sure I need 310mm for an 89 750,otherwise I'd buy them.Technical heads here may be able to help.My bikes not here for me to measure them. Can 320mm be used anyway?
Cheers

welcome Brian,a bit of steel wool would make them much more attractive mate, looks like they been sitting round for a while due to that brake pad imprint in foto 1.And the ZXR would be much happier as a streetfighter.fairings are for poofters mate but im Shaw someone has already told you that.;)

Thanks Ben, for the cordial welcome, and thanks Davo for the thoughts. The discs were last exercised around PI back in November '04, and they've sat unused on the bike in my garage ever since.

Life often seems to be all about timing ; a mate of mine popped round tonight, and bought the discs on the spot as spares for his 750WN racebike. Thanks to Ben for posting the pics, and to those of you for your advice / interest. Tone, I don't know if we've ever met on a track, but if we did, I bet I held you up :)

BTW, at risk of provoking a firestorm of virtual suicide bombers throwing themselves at me, streetfighters are for those who like to wheelie and do stunts, but faired bikes are for people who just want to go [u]fast</u>. :D

Cheers,
Brian

the ultimate rider goes fast and does stunts on a streetfighter.;)

Does Rossi do that ? I don't seem to recall Kenny Roberts Sr or Mick Doohan doing that, either ...

Think I'd better let this one go [B)]

All in good fun mate, it's good to have be able to have a light banter about these things without anyone getting upset :)

As a mate of mine said years ago, arguing on the internet is like winning a medal in the Special Olympics - even if you win, you're still retarded !

It'd be a sad old world if all couldn't make our own personal choices. The stereotypical high-barred streetfighter really isn't my cup of tea ('70s-'80s style naked AMA superbikes are something else though, love them), but each to his own.

Cheers,
Brian
