How much oil?

How much oil do I put in an 1127?

Before I drained it I had a look in the sightglass and it went way over the F mark

On the clutch cover near the oil fill plug it should have an amount
like 3300ml or 3000ml that would be a good start but sound weird if it was way over the F mark as F means Full

It said 4000ml so I put in about 3800 and it's right between the marks. It looked like quite a bit more than 4L came out though. I'll measure it later when it's dark...

i put just over 4 litres in mine,makes shifting gears much smoother with the front wheel shooting the moon.

4 litres on oil change,4.2 with filter change,and 5.1 with engine rebuild using standard cooler.Time to buy a service manual Lardge,best bok i've ever read(9 times).I dont overfil my crank,i just run it above the full line coz when im on the back wheel it makes all the difference to up shifting.any overfil will be blown out the crank breather.

Where's the crank breather on an 1127?

I'm guessing it would go into one of the inlets or the airbox?

square box lookin thing ontop of your cams,hose should go to your airbox if its standard.Manual Lardge,manual.

I'm sorted now Davo. I downloaded a pdf of the manual from a russian site. I'm going to burn it to disk and next time I'm in the office, they're going to sponsor me for 350 pages of paper and ink:)
