While we're on about powerband units ....


Years ago we got some parts thru from some cheapy taiwanese manufacturer and they were "POWERBAND" brand....

The other lad in the shop who was pretty dry ... found a bloody huge rubber band one day and stuck in one of these "powerband" packets....
we used ta get the kids comin in wantin ta buy a powerband for their bikes but we wouldn't sell it to 'em as we told it was too much power for 'em....

We sold one to a young fella one day and told him we couldn't fit it as it was "performance" stuff and that he needed to take it the bike shop two doors down as he did performance work....(we were only a bike wreckers and we used ta wind Clarky, the other shop owner, up whenever we could as he bit so fucken well)

We told the guy to pay us after Clarky fitted it....

SO off he trots, pushin his beloved 2 stroke down the road while clutchin his newly aquired "powerband" in his hand...

A couple of minutes later we heard Clarky yellin out at the top of his lungs ... "YOU CUNTS"

We pissed ourselves laughin for ages after that .... nothin got done that arvo... :D :D :D
