I've never been too keen on the lower fairings but this is more affordable.

Yep, the Kats are becoming exxie these days, But one went past me on the way to work this morning, and nothing has the same road presence as a big Kat.

I bid on one last week... that dirty beat up looking, home black spray can style 1100. It passed in with me holding the high bid at $2035. So I offered them $2500 and was told fairly plainly to poke it where the sun dont shine!
Now I mean.... it PASSED IN! at $2035. What more of an indication of value do you need than Ebay ?? If anyone was interested they would have bid. The seller wants $4500 for it and frankly to quote the guy from The Castle.... "They are DREAMING". There are MINT Kats aruond for $4500 so why would you pay for a beat up, unregistered, badly painted one ??
Yes people are starting realise the value of Kats. BUT..... at the same time most buyers are pretty realistic. I cant see that guy getting $8000+ for that bike (thats putting it VERY kindly) when you could have a bloody 2001 TLR1000 with 30K on the clock for the same money.
People need to get real geeeez....
Some people....

It ain't about the value Razor, it's about 40 somethings trying to return to an imagined youth. And what's the cost of fooling yourself, and everyone else, into believing that you rode a Kat in 'the day'.
$8000 for a good original Kat won't be uncommon soon.
