Yeah I just emailed him to give me pictues of the Rego number and Chassis plate VIN. Notice he has neglected to give a picci of the rego plate. Also he hasnt put them in the item description. And when have you ever met a Ducati 749-999 rider who has not rambled on about how good and all the top specs of his bike is?

Nice if it were true but it's the same old scam to catch the unwary. Awhile ago when I owned a hotted up Bindit and I had it privately advertised on a mates bike classified site complete with a good assortment of pictures and information. about 6 weeks later I saw someone using pictures of my bike for the same sort of scam as this Duke but with my rego lable showing .I did the right thing and notified eBay. What was interesting however was when the winning bidder(eBay refused to pull the auction) tracked me down through the rego number and demanded the bike. I ended up calling the cops on the poor frantic bugger, he got a lesson on ebay scamming from the Fraud Squad,he attempted to legally claim my bike(case so flimsy it didn't even make it to court) and was stung for $5500 by some Albanian scammer.

I've reported a few of these scammers to the egay fraud people. As choppaweeza says, they don't remove the ads.

Egay don't give a shit, as long as they get their listing fee:(

Always , always check the FEEDBACK and how amny sales the guy has done. You'll notice this is his first sale. No feedback, and no history. Even if the price was right I'd still be wary if the stats were the same.
