try lifting the corners of the seat, usually theres a screw or bolt or something holding it there, take them out and slide it back.. if that dont work then get the saw out and chop it off...

pfff take the easy option then

Chainsaws are much more entertaining...

there is a key and then pull back on the seat.

no no, you need to use a tyre lever. no key, just get the tyre lever under the edges and go for your life :)

pt's right, but you gotta put it in a fire till it's red hot first, makes it easier to remove the bolts from the plastic

Burn it and buy a gixxer mate,But if you still wanna look under the seat im sure on that one you pull of the side panels then theres 2 bolts holding the seat on.

Actually remove the rear wheel then you can see under the seat from there you slowly drop the bike down
on top of you when you well and truely stuck call for help and when the fire brigade turn up theyll
cut you out with the jaws of life and the seat should then be removed
for good:D

And not only that but from under there youll be able to see exactly what they did to get it off;)

And you guys wonder why people don't come back. They sign up just to get some technical advice off a bunch of blokes who obviously know their way around a motorcycle and they get shot to pieces. No one even tried to sell him a T-shirt.

There are 1000 sites people can go to ask technical questions and yeah we are one of them. However I dont think its wrong if we differentiate ourselves by asking that people contribute first - even if its just a "hello, hows it going?"

No one would walk up to you in a pub and say :
"howdoIpulltheclutchoffmybikecauseIdonthaveamanuala ndcantsearchtheinternetmyself"
unless they wanted a big ole piss off and two fingers.

Just my two cents tho if everyone else feels different I'll pull my head ;)

I couldn't give a fuck if someone doesn't say hello before asking a legit question...this is the internet, and no-one fucking owns it.Sure it seems like the polite thing to do before asking for help, but this site was not established on people saying "Hi,I'm Barry, hope you can answer my question.",but rather people searching for the same answers and sharing the same(only) interest.
Personally i think its a bit petty to put shit on people for asking a question without saying hullo 1st,(unless its me),as this is how most of the long term members entered this site in the 1st place.(and especially now since we have well over 130 000 hits per week on "our" site.)

Yes i a'm a hypocrit coz i am guilty of this on multiple occasions, but i'm mainly just takin the piss at obviously numb questions(coz thats just me),but the "THIS IS OUR CLUB,YOU MUST SAY HELLO 1ST" kindergarten gang behavior is wearing very thin and scaring off new members.

My 10cents worth...(and i reserve the right to delete or edit my post at ant time).

cheers
