uploading photos

Finally got a digital camera:), been trying to upload some photos fpr Tone but they're too big. How do I shrink them? I'm sure it's been on here before but I can't find it[:I].

If you know they are going to go on the internet ande that's all you want them for, do it in your camera buy setting it up to take the smallest (lowest quality) size photos. Apart from that you will need software on your computer to do it.

Im sort of self taught, but it seems to work.

Find yourself somewhere to "host" your pics

and have a look how large they let you host.

With both mine and Ellie's digi camera's the pic's are
waaaay to large to post. After a bit of trial and error I have found out the by sending them to standard PC "Paint" programme I can resize
them at about 24% (this is the % that works for me)

sure someone on here can explain it better :D
