taking apart levers

i need to know how to take apart the lever with the adjustment
thingo, so i can anodise or powdercoat it after shortening..
anyone done this???

The easiest way is to grind off the back of the adjuster knob then put a new anodised one in afterwards. The aftermarket adjuster's are held in by a circlip instead, so you can pull em apart easy next time.
I've got a few of these if ya need one.
