Probably looking at 2 days each way pluss the weekend so for me its going to be about a week to be involved. Just have to see how it goes.

Im gonna do all I can to make it. I mean I wasnt considering riding anyway. Ill be chucking the Bandit on the ute and driving over so its not so much about comfort and effort as time and money. Im pretty sure the route I got from whereis.com.au isnt the best one. It looks to me like going up through Dubbo and around the outside of the Sydney area would be far better than going through Sydney... Pluss i have a personal policy of not going on Tollways... I pay my fuggin taxes, they aint getting any more from me to use the roads... but thats another story...

Ill put my leave application in this week... and we will see what happens.

1465km?!.. should be covered in 16 or so hours on the road.. easily. especially on the open road.

split that between 2 days.. 1 day getting to sydney/CBR snoozing there.. and then ride up with the syd/cbr mob the following day.

razor. check the route that the kms are for. having travelled through there quite a few times that does not sound right. only six hrs from hay to newy and macksvile is another 31/2. and only a couple from mildura to hay. and you wont have to sit on the limit most of the way.
