Ok,just heard back from the Star Hotel,they have extra accommodation for 12 - 16 people + another four if people wanna share queen size beds(such as those bringing partners).cost is $20 p/head flat rate.limited secure parking in the cellar is avaliable but the carpark at the rear of the pub is also quite secure(i dont think anyones gunna try an steal a bike when theres 50 of us in town).
after that is all booked up it will be up to the individual to book their own accommodation at the motels in town.i will post up ph numbers for these when all beds are booked.When we get a bit closer to April i will post up the list of who's sleeping in what rooms,people with partners will be given preference for double rooms so please dont pester me.who gives a fuck where ya sleep,its all about beer and bullshit.;)

Up until now I've been steering well clear of this topic cause I really want to go, but have been if fear of my wife shooting down any plans I make. I have however been drop'n the odd hint around the house saying how it would be good for me to go to.

After seeing your "read 'em and weep" topic (which seems to have disappeared mate - did you delete it?) he's decided you look like a bloke with April Fools run written all over you. Liver and brain damage are high up on the list of things to do but also you'll see a load of interesting bikes and locals turning up, and considering it's a one horse town with only two pubs we basically take over for the weekend, plus they'll be some rides around the area for the ones staying longer and a chance to meet some of the tools that hang around this website. What more could you want?
