Probably those pretenders on the modern versions Jimbob...the ones that actually go round corners...;)

The other ones went around corners mate...............if you hung completely off the side and tugged like fuck on the handle bars.............and carried spare underwear :D

Same way I used to get my xs11 round mate...

You seen the pope when he lands...that was me when I got to the pub...

Nobody on an XS11 has any right to criticise any bikes handling Sharky. Still can't believe how that nutter won that race (Castrol 6 hr?) on one of'em back in the 80's. Guy had balls and skill in abundance.

Gem, if you've been around the forum you'll know the lads prefer to be given an intro by newbies before they ask for advice just as a show of common courtesy. Just say hi and explain a bit more and we'll be able to help you out.

Oh well, that's another one scared away.

At least at this rate we'll never go main stream, which I think is a good thing.

How about respecting your elders. the old z1000 just turned thirty, and if the new stuff couldn't out handle them there would be something very wrong.they were the very first 1000cc production bikes which makes them the grandfather of the litre road bike and are still a force to be recond with on the dragstrip.
And yes I ride one.

Mine's in the gallery, under kawasaki, 3rd bike down, so put it up lass. And mine's a relative youngster @ 22 years old.

Now it's my turn, I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours. I'm standing here stark bollock naked, camera in hand, ready to go :D

( actually maybe not, Gix would definitely ban me if I post pics of meself nekkid. Even I pray that the mirror has steamed up as I get out of the shower [8D] )

I'd get to "Mad Micks" at Goodna and tell him that you want some tyres... he'll fit some round black things that actually work very well, at least they do on my 25 year old bike....
