Pete, that looks great mate. That's the result from the guy that did the seat you were on about yea? He knows his shit! That seat is actually what makes the whole bike sit together really well. You'll have to give me his number mate.

Thanks guys - Appreciate the feedback.

The engine cage is coming off when I get around to making a belly pan - hopefully wont take me 5 weeks this time around ;).

Those wires at the back... Well the taillight assembly is temp - thats why those wires are a little dangly atm.

Yeah Si, I'm totally chuffed about the seat - The guy really takes pride in his work. I'm going to go show him the end result soon. He works from home so you gotta give him a call before you drop around. Check his website http://www.twowheeltrimming.com.au/

Oh yeah and he charged me 50 bucks less then he quoted.

Righto - now its ok for someone to organise a ride [8D]

("I'm going to go show him the end result soon")

How did he get it so spot on without seeing the bike Pete? Those lines are an exact match to the tank and tail! He must have seen the bike or else he's telepathic.

Err. I made the seat base myself and did most of the foam work... I left the bike at his place and he trimmed and added more foam.
Took him all of a day...

He had the bike when it had the tail piece about 50% done. If you remember it from ozkats bbq I had that shitty little cover taped on. I made a new one carved from expander foam and then fibreglassed it into the rest of the tail. Then lots of blending and bogging...

I guess it was luck or just me doing a lot of sanding bogging and fibre glassing to get it just right....

The tail piece is a HEAVILY modified 00 r1 tail piece... Got it nice and cheap from a wrecker... Its probably taken a good about 80 hours to get it looking like that. Mind you most of that was a learning experience. Could probably do another from scratch in about half that [xx(]

Later on this year I'm going to take a mold of it so I may be flogging off replica's. Thats a bit pie in the sky at the mo tho.;)[8D]
