im currently in the process of building a sport bike, a suzuki gsxf 750cc 99 model to be precise.
ok the story so far is... a big acko bent the frame and destroyed the front end, so.. a gsxr front end was favoured over the standard front end, for its USD and beefier, stiffer front end...
i didnt like the seating position with the clip ons, so i fitted up some tripple clamp toppers and a Moto-cross style handle bar..
i was getting bored of the 260kmph top speed and the accleeration, and the 2nd gear burn outs.. so i fitted a IHI turbo i found in the paper for 30 bucks.. worked fine, on 3 psi... only slightly more interesting then standard,.., ive blown this turbo, and now am seeking out a garrett item for a planned 8psi.
im awaiting the arrival of the wave rotors and goodridge lines, with ebc pads from the states..
next on my shopping list is a busa sub frame and rear end plastics, busa front fender, and everything metal that i could have chromed.. is to be chromed.
i fully intend on running the gsxf main fairings, and front fairing, so... i'll have a bike, with...
oil cooled 750.. fitted with a up rated front end, and more poke not far away...up rated brakes. modified frame, and plastics!!
so whats that make it?? a street fighter?? prolly not lmao.
guess my question is then, whats YOUR definition of a street fighter?? and what would you classify my ride as?

PS.. not in a million years will i turn the bike into a naked bike, i tend to ride very long distances in all kinds of weather.. call me a woose if you like, but i like to be protected a little from the elements

eazy on there Rexxie,i just dusted another few kilo's of plastic tonight. New custom bars top yolk risers just went on with much more to follow.at least i have the nads to turn my perfecly fine weapon into a genuine fighter.now thats she's cumin together i dont know why it never happened earlier,unlike ye who buys a naked bike an calls himself a hard core builder.ya might as well put fairings on ya bike an call yaself a streetlover.no offence mate but there aint nuthin thats not standard on your green shitter appart fron that silly lookin motox number plate unit.and the Tricky fork stickers.

i know he does he called me today to let me know. davo the pushbike speedo is pretty accurate. prob more so than the originals which are allowed to out by up to 15percent anyway.

they run on battery but they last a while they turn themselves on when the wheel starts turning then when sitting still for a short time turn themselves off but you know this already you are just winding me up again davo

I used to have a really good shimano speedo on my downhiller a few years ago. Really reliable and shit it took a beating. Only cost me $40.00 same as from most places!
Also ive got a mate who dose some crazy shit on his mountain bike down at perisher and up in Cairns and stuff and he says if you can find one under $60.00 that a battery goes into the wheel magnet that its like 100% accurate. more power from the sensor.

im keeping my fairing, its just another thing i can moddify on the bike, all the chrome work will still clearly be visable, and the only thing i will be hiding is the turbo.. not a bad thing specially since i live on the coast, and the amount of fuckwit coppers that trawl around here for fines.
