how have you guys got ur road worthy cert? as I got told that those style of "downlight" fairings would not pass a rwc as they don't have the "E" stamped in the lense.

They're not meant for road use. They also last about a month beofre they bust as well. I have only one light working and it's shite. I just don't go out at night any more. As for road worthy, er, no.

supercheap also has neons,i have 1 wrapped around my cock for winter stimulus. all L.E.D setups should use apprpriate relays.
Acerbis has released a D.O.T compliant version of the diamond unit which apparently works at night.looks a bit different with 1 large 1 small globe but hey,it fukin works.check it out at their web site.
Deano, move to QLD an you'll never have to worry about road worthy again.

Umm well there were 2 cases of VB cans that said my bike was road legal when I went for my blue slip... :D 11 into 7? No worries! Dirt bike headlight? Certainly sir!

Yeah the Acerbis Cyclops is the one you're talking about I think davo. I thought about it but I liked the look of the Diamond a bit better. You can now even get 'extra bling' chrome look Diamond now too! [xx(]

Err could I put in a LDR (light dependant resistor?) so that it got dimmer at night?

Cheers mate! I got the gauges from the UK, basically some dude off the oldskoolsuzuki.info site was hooking people up with them, I think it was 'PP' from memory. They're pretty small (48mm) and I really like them, they're out of the way and look quite neat. I'm a big fan of analogue gauges tho...
