I was reading the warning label in front of the filler cap on an R1150 BMW, don't remember the exact wording,but the gist of it was,
"DONT LEAVE THE CHOKE ON TOO LONG OR THE BIKE WILL CATCH FIRE".
Not bad for a 20K motorcycle.
