View Full Version : Opinions on '95 GSXR750?
Well i think i have found my next bike. Its a 1995 GSXR750 with 21,000km's on it. Has a few scratched on the fairings (which are coming off anyway) but otherwise ok, so i should be able to get a decent price. I'm going to go have a test ride tomorrow, anyone know anything specific to look out for on this model?
Cheers- Martin
How's it going there?
Don't know much about them myself, I'm an air-cooled old-timer.
Given that you're riding it tomorrow you might want to try posting in the water-cooled area on OldSkoolSuzuki as well.
Hope it goes well:)
Let us know how you go, & piccies[8D]

if it rides ok the only other things i would check are ... chain and spockets around $250 to replace ... discs around $600-$900 to replace... and fork seal leaks because if the chrome is pitted or worn out your looking at around $250(i think) for rechroming. that equals around $1100 at best and that not inc labor if you cant do it yourself ($60 per hour about 4-5 hours min = another $250 roughly) so you could easily run up another $1500 on top of the purchase price.im sure you wont find all these things wrong. but it sure can add up quickly belive me ive been there done that. i hope it all goes well its an excellent choice of bike. just rip the 750 out and put in a 1100 its a real easy swap.
Damn, it was sold before i got there thismorning... back to the classifides

Good to see OzKat, it's not 'the real thing', but it is the best looking of the GSXR's[:p], and it's a real Suzuki.
I might even stop being a smart-arse
As fucking if!!![8D]
