After to talking to Si at the AFR I think he said the larger the photo the more it costs to put up (correct me if I'm wrong Si).

You can always send them to one of us to shrink for ya if you don't know how, or just ask us.

Only a small thing but all the pics cost and why waste (Si's/our) ASF money. The other thing is some of the poorer members are still on dial up and they said they take ages to download.
I use the Paintshop program to shrink mine. What do other folk use ?

Forget about shrinking them.

Host them somewhere else like www.photobucket.com as it is free and then just link it to ASF. The pictures still show up here but Si is not hosting them and chewing up his bandwidth.

I always use the kodak program that came with my camera, just save as 50%, seems to work fine.

Microsoft office picture manager is probably one of the easiest to use.. most people should have it, it comes with windows i think... all you do is open the picture you want to resize, click on picture up the top where the tool bar is, and it will have a list of options, click resize, and all you have to do is choose how big or small you want it... easy, anyone can use it, its very simple..

Don't "Send picture code to message" for the second pic on, but highlight the code and copy / paste
