I just bought the Rjays SP2. Pretty happy with those results.

I find it interesting that the Shoei Dual purpose lid faired better than the XR-1100.

No I'm wondering if I should upgrade from the XR-1000 to the XR-1200 or the dual purpose.

And it's no surprise the KBC is shithouse. I own one and could have told them that without doing the tests.

I'm a bit dubious about the comfort ratings, isn't that sort of a personal preference? I have 2 of the helmets listed and the one that got more stars I am thinking of selling because it's so bloody uncomfortable.

I wear a Bandit. My lid is as unsafe as my fighter lol

3 stars for comfort and 3 for safety from a $900 helmet, and here I was thinking that by buying a well known and well used brand of lid that I was buying something close to top shelf.......

I'm not sure how my $1200 Arai Corsair-V only gets 3 stars and 2 for comfort, a bit weird.

Energy reduction in a higher speed crash on kerb anvil 19.23/25
Energy reduction in a lower speed crash on flat anvil 3.88/15

This is telling me that I'll be safer if I'm going faster, honest.

I think what we're missing when we read this data is the fact that a 1 star rating is the Basic acceptable Aus/NZ Standard. Anything over and above that is in excess of the standard.
