the ford taurus fwd was to be the replacement falcon after the EF_EL !!!!
but ford aus convinced ford us that they can come up with the AU for little to fuck all, as we aussies will not accept the tuarus fwd ?? hmmm thank fuck for that huh

i went to blacktown tech for my 2nd year and they were given an red taurus as a gift"their term for feed back" and it wasnt good .

It may be the wrong time to admit this. But I was actually considering getting one of these secondhand back around 2001, I think it was. I liked it because it was different. Price and avail of spares was scary and fwd sealed the deal. Ended up getting an AU Futura instead. Possibly still my fave late model car that I've owned.

Engine is noisy already so rev limiter is off limits right now, but we have had a suggestion for Episode 2 of Zombies with chainsaws, I'm all for that
