there are so many options nowadays for lerners it isn't even funny.

I wouldn't restrict the search to CBR250s

5' size 6-8 and 45kg kinda restricts choice lol

Balius 250 way cooler with out the variable timing malarky. CBR250's are the nastiest little POS I have ever ridden.
A good CBX250 single for that size of rider would be ideal.

Ive got one for sale mate, 1998 RR model Genuine Aus delivered, really good nick. Bought it for the missus to ride, but it never caught on for her. Has done about 100km's in the last 2 years. can send ya some pics if ya want....lookin for $2600. Only prob is that it is in vic....lol

She's sat on a few and decided the Vtr250is the best so we're on the lookout for one of them (preferred in Old);)
