Not the easy way nor cheapest but zrx 1100 arm and 5.5 rim with 180 will fit
and after looking at it I could make a 6 and 190 fit just don't tell the wife she will
want the bigger fatty lol

Have a look at the zephyr zone forum lots of good info on there
from what I have seen most use zxr 400 rims and forks( tho don't think we got them here)
you will have to have a look at what you can fit in the arm a 5 rim should fit
I never bothered to look I knew I wanted the 5.5 and 1100 arm

A ZZR600 rear wheel will work in the 550 Zephyr and give you a 160/60 17 on it.

The ZZR600D wheels are a Z section spoke, the later ZZR600E wheels are a different section. The ZZR600 also takes the same front discs as the 550 Zephyr, which makes it an easy swap, The ZXR400 wheels will fit, as well as GSXR400 Slingshot GK76. GSXR750 wheels will also fit with bearing swaps.

will zzr600D wheels slot straight in without any other mods? have found a set nice and cheap on ebay. :)

You may need to play about with spacers, but they should drop right in, the front will drop straight in, the rear may need spacers sorting. The GSXR wheels are early slingshot type which need spacers doing and bearing swaps to get the spindle diamter correct.
