swing arm swap, 04 R6 arm on a 00 R6???

hey all has anyone put a Gen2 arm on a Gen1?

i have seen a few forums on it, looks pretty simple........

i know i need the 04 arm, axle and rear break assembly
but does anyone know if the Gen1 wheel can be used?

i will do as soon as i find a decent priced one, just missed out on a compleate rear end minus wheel for $60 bucks!!!

This swap is really really easy!

All you need is the
-03 swingarm
-03 caliper and mount

Everything else I reused off the 00 R6
Swing arm pivot bolt, rear axle, dogbones, triangles
And rear shock.
I did need to swap the bushes from the triangle monut
On the swingarm so the bolt would fit and I need to grind
Down the heads on my disk bolts for clearance.

There must be one out there mate.....maybe not as easy as this one
But with enough mucking around you can put anything together!
