The only way to fit a lock up clutch on a bandit is to do the gsxr clutch conversion to change it from diaphragm to spring

No it's not, I have a multi stage lock up for a B12 here, which uses the stock B12 clutch not a GSXR conversion. It is possible to buy them from MTC for the B12.

I would also use Genuine Suzuki clutch plates, they are more than capable of handling higher horsepower, and are much better than EBC or Barnett.

I've always fanced the GSXR coil spring conversion.
Never got around to doing it on a B-12.

Clutch used to slip on my 1st 1200 when I hit the NOS.
A new set of Suzuki plates and using one original
diaphragm spring and one "Factory" (USA) heavy duty
spring fixed it. Clutch was a little heavier but
stood up to drags, wheelies and a 60-shot of gas.

Probably not the cheap option, but i'd go Genuine Suzuki
clutch plates too and change ONE of the springs unless
you've got some monster horsepower motor.

I got a kevlar kit mainly to see what it feels like compared to the stockie.

If it doesn't work out then I'm gunna hold you down and let Glenn cockpunch you into unconsciousness.

They are a barnett item mate diaphragm is just a fancy word for springs mate they look like big curved washers I used 2 in predator and the clutch has never slipped once
