Some Pommy bloke put a Rover V8 into the back of a sofa and ran 92mph/140ish kph.

Now a bloke in Brookvale is using a GSX1400 motor that I sold him to try and beat that record. Hand made frame and MX5 running gear. Just needs the sofa and coffee table bolted on, before testing at the creek next week. I believe then it's TV appearances and a Dare ad.

On a serious note tell him to fuck off the long ass (Rat Fink) gear shifter and put a air shifter with buttons on the wheel before he kills his ass changing gear at 200 km/h lol

Here's a vid of it running. The brakes didn't quite stop it on the way out so it met the old Christian City Church driveway.

It's a GSX1400 and it sounds like it should do 160 plus. [:p]
