K3 Gsxr Cam swap

I've been doing some reading about my k3 750 and found that some people have swapped the intake cam off a gixxa 1000 and then used the 750 intake on the exhaust side, with gains of up to 14hp. Has anyone done this? If you have does it affect low to mid range power?

This used to be fairly common back in the bad old days.

used to fit a kick arse Inlet (Formula 1 grind or similar) to the Zeds and standard exhaust cam, went much better but really made the mixture lean enough to melt pistons if you weren't careful with fuelling, but I'm an old dinosaur so probably means fuck all now HAHA.

No idea on the swap , but I'd bet you will loose torque down low to gain 14 hp up top on a 750.
