Hello all,

Does anybody know anything about small M/C batteries in instances where space is tight?
I have seen some bikes that appear to be running without batteries at all. I have extremely limited space and am looking for a miracle.

Cheers.

Do some research on LiPo batteries for motorcycles, very small (about 1/3 the size of lead acid) and light but need a different charger. You can either buy them ready to drop in (pretty expensive) or grow your own from individual cells and a bit of work

Do a search for "Ripperton"

The guy is a total nutcase, but he's doing some nice work with small batteries and an electric powered bike

I'm using a Lipo battery from the states... also got the charger at the same time.
I went with a 8 cell ...it starts the blackbird fine. just remember to keep it above 12 volts all of
the time...they dont like being discharged too much.
