I know it will be a strong chance of total fire ban this weekend , but does anybody know if there is access to fire wood and a good spot for a camp fire ? Was thinking that as the closest person to heathcote (i know of anyhow) perhaps I could scrounge a few loads of wood to dump there beforehand so we can have a resonable fire for the night. Plus the beast (corolla wagon misses will drive too the party) has a similar stereo to burtha had (2 12 inch subs several external home stereo speakers and 2300 watts rms) so if people bring music on a usb stick we can have all the tunes we like as loud as we like for the night.

Ben if your draging a tralor full of bikes , freeway down to seymour then turn off at second seymour exit (puckapunyal/tooborac rd is exit name) go too tooborac turn right then off to heathcote. Roads that way are ok , but all be aware once off the freeway the roo's are everywhere and dumber than most (I work at puckapunyal where the roos are chased regually by tanks!) there is at least 1 roo hit every day between heathcote and pucka !

Funny you should say that. Phill was going to come along but work delayed his plans so he won't be in the country in time. He's given up the riding anyway - not to say that peer pressure wouldn't get to him mind....
