Hi peeps. I've recently investedin an ultrasonic cleaner. I was thinking that I might offer to U/S clean peoples parts for them. It's a 30l cleaner and can hold a full set of carbs, cylinder head, set of barrels, etc. If you'rer interested you'll need to bring your parts to my place and pick them up again or discuss options with me. The cleaning solution that I am currently using is Brulin Formula 815GD.

Banditrod I ended up getting it from somewhere over in QLD but can't remember off the top of my head. I also thought that they just used water until I tried it and fuck all happened. Needs cleaning solution and heat. I put some yucky carbs in off the old GSX motor and they came out a treat. I'll post some more pics later but dead chuffed with it and will be put to some serious use soon

Hello,
I have a 1994 GSXR 750 with a set of carbies that could do with a thorough clean, I'm in Melb so are you still able to clean parts?
Cheers, Rob.

What solution do you use Pete? I use Brulin 815GD which seems to be pretty effective but also runs at about the same price.

Hi All,
Just had set of GSXR 750 carbies returned from ultrasonic cleaning by Simon, they look new! All very spiffy and more importantly internally completely clean without having to poke bits of wire into the guts of the carbies.
I've put the carbies back on the bike, which now confirms that my original gremlin is somewhere in the electrical system. Back to the shed!
Anyway if you need something spotlessly clean, give Simon a call - great job and always great to meet another ASF member. His build project is a beauty by the way!
