Some will remember when I put this bike together last year.

http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20555&whichpage=1

The plan was to leave it in QLD at a super secret hideout (ie: Si's place) so I could use whenever I went to QLD and could take off for a few days into the hills.

So I shipped it to Adelaide from Perth and did this trip to the Goldy.

Unfortunately, since then, I haven't made it back to the Gold Coast a single time since, so that was a waste of effort !
But now, with the Orange K1 bike getting a turbo fitted and becoming a strip bike, I am gunna need a road bike so I arranged for a friend of a friend to collect it from Si and bring it back here for me.

With Si's help, he loaded up Friday morning and dropped it off this arvo !! Talk about quick delivery!

So, massive thanks to Si for putting up with it in his shed and helping me out to get it back home, I owe you a few beers mate !

I already got a new battery through Morry so I chucked that in, limped around to the servo for some air in the tyres and took off for a fang around the streets, what a fkn great bike to ride !

So here's how it looks now.

Now that the bike is back here, I won't be so concerned with getting a defect notice 5000k's away from home so I have ordered a Power Commander 5, a TRE and a Yoshi stainless slip on for it for starters.

While they're coming in, it needs two new tyres, an oil and filter change, the clutch needs a strip and clean and then I'll probably leave it as it is for a while.
I'll get a new headlight for it and then think about gathering up some bits for a winter strip down when I'm in the new house.

I'm fukn stoked to have it back !

Yeah I didn't bother to photograph the orange bike when I did the change from grreen to orange.
But I'll record the mods to make it into a stripper when the turbo kit finally arrives.

Nah he was keen to get back. The guy he moves race cars for is flying him and the team to Goodwood for the festival of speed this week I think.
So I wouldn't hang around either !

Dropped the bike off to Mozzy today for some new rubber and some oil and a filter.

Might whip down south next weekend if anyone wants to come.

After a run down to the South West on the weekend, I spent an hour or so cleaning all the bugs and cow crap off the bike.
I'd already fitted the Power commander V previously so I fitted a K&N filter and slipped on this ...err...Yoshi slip on.

The bike sounds heaps faster now !

Note the smoke coming out as all the packing and shit cooks, this is a few minutes after I killed the motor after the first 10 minute ride.

I also got a bit wanky and stuck some stickers on, for no other reason than my tool box is still in storage.

TRE is sitting here next to me, maybe will fit it this weekend.
