does anyone have any tips for removing grime from the motor. i've spent forever on it with degreaser but 15 yrs worth of road grime is hard to beat. i'm struggling to get the oil and crap from the little nooks and crannys.

oven cleaner on the tuff stuff, just be sure to rinse it well & then go over it with wax & grease remover.

Only do this if you plan to paint the engine as the caustic in the oven cleaner will discolour the aluminium.
