I need a relay that is pulse switchable. i.e. a 12v pulse for 4sec to turn it on, then when needed another 4sec pulse to turn the relay off. 40amp would be ideal but if I have to piggy back it from a small load to large load relay that's fine. Cheers for any help.

do you need the 4 sec pulse or can it be a momentary pulse. do you need a +12v pulse or a -ve pulse.

wat about a techomatric "i think thats how its spelt" its the swithing relay for LPG , hooks up to ignition coil and wont let the LPG switch on the solinoids untill the relay recives a pulse and then powers up?

I've got some 16A relays that use a single momentary +ve or -ve pulse to latch on then again to latch off. I had to buy a batch of them as they are made to order.$30 each.
