Hi,

Like many others I'm a Brit living in Aus. Have been in Melbourne for 4 years.

Coming from the bike scene in the UK I am surprised at a few things in Aus:

1) How few customised jap bikes you see here (bling-decked harleys dont even count as bikes....)

2) How freakin' nasty Vic police are at speedtraps. Getting nicked for doing 103km/h in a 100km/h zone, are you for real? Gone are the days of doing 90 mph on the M6

Hope to find out more madness soon though

Welcome aboard Chris. Yea, Vic cops seem to be the tightest I have found. M5 doing 90-100mph and cops not caring days are long over. The pluses of living in Aus far outweigh that though!
