Recieved this today,

http://www.afic.com.au/?p=2343

AUSTRALIA WILL BE HOLDING A CENSUS ON 10th AUGUST, 2011

DO NOT LEAVE THE RELIGION SECTION BLANK. PLEASE

BE SURE TO TICK CHRISTIAN (OR YOUR UPBRINGING FAITH).

1,000,000 MUSLIMS WILL TICK THEIR BOX.

10,000,000 AUSTRALIANS WILL LEAVE IT BLANK -
THEN WONDER WHY A MOSQUE IS BUILT IN THEIR NEIGHBOURHOOD!
It is really scary to see that the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils have been campaigning their Muslim followers since 2009/2010 to ensure that they complete the census religion question/s in order to determine representation in Australian Federal & State Politics & how government funds (Federal & State) is spent in the planning & location of services & allocation of resources for the Muslim community. This letter was downloaded from the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils website.

Please pass this on & don’t forget to answer any/all religious question/s as
CHRISTIAN (OR YOUR UPBRINGING FAITH) for all members of your household.

Pastafarians and Jedi aren't recognised.

You also nede to state you rode your motorcycle to work today. Otherwise we lose funding in favour of cagers.

how can they be "not recognised" It is a persons choice what religion they are.

Personally i don't want any religions to receive any government funding (not any more than any other social group anyway). Church (of all kinds) and state should be completely separate.

Yeah always makes me laugh to see people going "I put Jedi, so we can get it recognised as a religion!" etc... no, that's not how it works... if you put anything other than a valid recognised existing answer, it just gets ignored by them and the people doing the data entry flag it as "Not answered".

I'm a Sith and when they get an idea of our numbers you can expect a Light Saber amnisty shortly after (since there are no Jedi's to save you)

There was a question in it asking if you had any family members overseas. Maybe one of your olds listed you in that Sammo?

You shouldn't have to say any more than you were overseas.

If you really want to vote, and I can't see why you'd bother with the cunts we have in politics in Aus, you should be able to go to an Australian Consulate in whatever country you're in.
