Was looking at buying a set of tyres for the R1 and when I called up the local shop they quoted me $600 for a 120/70-17 & a 190/50-17. They were kind enough to fit it for that price (only after I asked them to). So jumped on the bay of E and found this seller http://shop.ebay.com.au/2011baja/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562. Cost me $320 for a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's delivered!!!

Are they genuine Michelins?

His feedback indicates he sells fake dvds..

If I knew about MONO, I would have prob bought from him. tyres look genuine to me. Also I had checked his feedback on the tyres before buying. Until I road test them, can't say much more

Lots of 190/50's about.
Not so many 190/55's.

If your going to buy Michelins see if you can get ones made in Spain. They last heaps longer than ones made in Thailand. Can't argue with the price though.

I had a pair of "Jap" Qualifiers.
Not good enough to be called average.

Ended up with another pair of Qualifiers,
Waaaaaay, better. Good tyres.

2nd set looked the same but were made in the US.
Im SURE the compound was different, even reading
the sidewall the two had different amount of ply's.

Both were sold as "Dunlop Qualifiers"
