Doing a bit of homework on USD front ends.
Bearing sizes, stem lengths, overall lengths etc.
Just a thought.....
Which one's have a speedo cable drive ?
...and if I found one would the ratio be suitable for
something like Bandit, ET or Kat clocks ?
or... how much of a drama is it to fit a old Skool type
drive into a modern front end ?
Dont want to use modern clocks.
Anyone been there / Done that ?
GSXR1100L .... but which others ?
Thank's.

ZXR 750 J to L (1991 - 1995)
ZX7R (1996 - 2000)
ZX9R B model (1994 - 1997)
The front wheel has to be compatible with a cable drive setup too Tony.

I think you can get an adapter to convert from cable to electric

Thanks. [8D]
I've seen folk use Bandit wheels and wire wheel hubs in later forks,
but I just wanted to know what my options were before I started
looking at spindles and spacers etc.
I wouldnt have a clue if speedo drives use a common ratio or if
their is a variation, I expect I could get cables made up with
compatable ends if I hunted around.
I like all the old style clocks, Kat / ET / Bandit etc but fancy
modern running gear. Just looking into marrying the two.

Yeah my 95 GSXR 750 had a cable drive off the front wheel. But that was the last of them I think.
