Redmohawk
06-02-2012, 05:49 PM
Trying to get some titanium tube in the right sizes is the hardest thing about making a zorst, its as rare as rocking horse shit in the sizes we want here in Aus. We dont build anywhere near enough nuclear powered subs to make it worth bring in heaps of the shit. The only supplyer I have seen here in Aus that can get it in 25mm and larger its all thick walled stuff for steam boilers and to heavy. Mostly in 2.5mm and 3.5 mm wall thickness. But I keep an eye out for some thin stuff , the gimp would love to loose another 3 or 4 kg !

pav69
06-02-2012, 06:34 PM
it will happen one day mate would be very cool hand made titanium zorst has a cool ring to it

Redmohawk
07-02-2012, 05:01 AM
Been thinking a set of titanium K1000 headers might be able to be adapted to the RF600 head ? From the look of them cyls 1 n 2 and 3 n 4 are about the right spacing just 2 to 3 are further apart need to get my hands on a set and measure.
