I am running stock master cylinder with my radial brakes[8D] - I am very:) but...

Does anyone know if the size of the brake master cylinder is different to stock GSXR/Bandit ones[?] any real difference noticeable[?]

yes i know all the shit with sizes & differences it makes but don't know what radial size is used[xx(] - anyone help on that one[?]

i think that the radial cyl is larger but the stroke is shorter. if you are using a std m/c then you should be fine and you will have a stroke similar to std calipers.

speed demon, i see you have a wr360 in your profile?

also, deano is right, bigger bore, shorter stroke, should be the same displacement but obviously different sizes are out there. The nice thing is the adjustability of the lever so you can compensate that way sometimes.

The latest OEM Radial M/C are around 19mm,the older conventional M/C with radial calipers or conventional 6 piston calipers were 5/8 inch (around 16mm) ,most of the 4 piston calipers before that used 14mm M/C...They will have the size cast on the underside of the M/C..fwiw

I will stick to my owned for 19 years 86 Husky WR400 :)

after countless seriously quick straights on AFR - the 16mm size works well (brakes very well from 240 mm/s) but i suspect the radial will just give it a more positive feel, but i could ride it as is no probs and not really care.
