Welcome mate!
I had an 04 Z750, it was a great little bike till I wrote it off into a mountain side! Would be an easy project as its already basically a factory 'fighter, so ur jobs already 90% done. Not technically a 'proper' fighter in some peoples eyes tho. Just depends what YOU want, how much u want to spend & how good u are with an angle grinder! The 1st thing u need to do is beef up the suspension tho as the Z750 got a shitty budget pack in that department. Mine had a ZX636 rear shock. And if u get a set of Z1 tripples the 636 front forks drop in too. That'l have it riding SO much better!
Which ever way u decide to go, make sure u keep us posted!

ok awesome mate that sounds awesome will definitely look into doing that was going to just put a shorty exhaust, jet kit maybe pods??, mx bar conversion, grips, bar end mirrors, matt black spray job but now i think of it the 636 suspension upgrade sounds the go what year z1000 tripples fit and what year 636 suspension?

The same model Z1 ie: 04-06. My rear shock was from an 06 model, u have to widen the bottom mount slightly to fit the lower linkage but its piss easy, just need ur trusty grinder and a vice! That also raises the rear ride hide and makes the bike steer faster. Front forks from memory were the same, I never got around to doing that bit as i binned it. The info is out there tho. Just find the measurement of the Z1 forks and the corresponding 636 forks n u'l see what will fit and what wont.
