thanks so much to banditrod for fixing my damper, refitted that to the zx and decided to see what she'd look like without the mask so took that off, i'm quite fond of it... what do you all think?

i also have some vortex rearsets on the way, a kneedraggers tail tidy (indicators flish with undertail and plate on the rear hugger), some new bar ends and oggyknobs

my pipe got a bit scraped in the fall, anyone know what i do to get that grazey shit off it? (not the yoshi but the link pipe)

ya i'm a bit iffy on it, i dig it though, a little more industrial and aggressive imo. i will neaten up the wiring a bit, paint the brackets etc. at least it opens my ram air up a lot more than before, i'll give it some road time and see how i feel.

Does look good but the bracket is out of place. Does that mount go with the mask or did you make it?

If you changed the bracket it would look alot better, I'll trade you a custom bracket for the mask :D

i think the inner bracket is made for that light, but two of them stacked together.

the outer bracket is for the mask.

gimme a bit and i'll think about it, i may just trade it for a custom triple and some dirtbars bolted on

well yeah its a 2 minute job to put it back on. i'll turf the mask bracket and move the light brackets down on the forks and the light up into the middle of it and paint the shit black, neaten up the wiring tomorrow...

tidied up the brackets and wiring, didn't bother painting. i also did a (average job) of heatwrapping my pipe. i didn't use adhesive heatwrap (does it even exist?) so no drama to get rid of it

Ketse, im acutally a fan of the mask on your bike. My vote is keep it on. But its always your choice bud.

So I got my bike back... new gaskets, sprocket, chain, oggy knobs, new bar ends, wrapped the pipe (looks a bit shit I know, but it looked even worse with all the scratches and dents and shit from the drop, if i can find a cheap enough pipe... i'll just replace it)

I also took the mask off, I really like it and think it looks a lot better without the mask... so I think I'll sell it... if anyone wants it... lemme know!

next step... I am saving up to get some apex risers... so I can alternate clipons with drag bars style... I love the clip on feel for hardcore cornering...!

Also got some vortex rearsets too which are great but there is no connection for the brake light so yeah... kinda illegal but w/e

also, the oggy knob on the right hand side is really close to my knee and it sometimes digs into my knee which is a pain in the assss

anyone want the mask? got anything to trade? a pipe to replace? drag bars/top triples?? buy it? it comes with the main bracket to fit the mask but no the fork mounting brackets but you can get those from the showyo website
