Hi guys, I was gonna put this in the stunting section, but it's not really a "technique" and I wasn't sure how to make a new category thing... whatever.

Anyways, I'm gonna be getting a bike to learn stunting on soon, and was wondering which is better/easier - F4i or 636?

I was set on an F4i, but the 636 front end looks heaps better imo...

Anyone stunted both??

Cheers,

Aran

Whatever you feel best on man.. Both pretty tough bikes, honda needs the oil pickup modded, but when thats done you're all good.

Yeah I just don't know anyone who has either that I could take for a spin even, and I don't wanna be a test pilot cruising around shops/private sales if I'm not sure which one I want...

I have heard more people say the F4i is a good beginner bike, but then there seems to be heaps of parts for the 636 available too so meh

A 636 is a tech bike perfect for slow idle stuff and gearboxs let go easily so if u want to do burnouts go the f4i . where an F4i can be used for all things but are a little boggier down low . i have owned an f4i and loved it , but now ride an 05 636 mainly because its supplied to me at no cost . cant say id go back to an f4i anytime soon . but as i said before it all depends on your RIDING LEVEL .

If its your first stunt bike its prob going to get smashed up a bit anyway, and while you are learning it's prob not so important what bike as learning the right technique(dont rush out and get a goldwing tho..). Where abouts are you? Have you tried to get in touch with a few stunters to have a chat/sit/ride?
Mostly the're a laid back lot, someone would prob let you have a quick spin..

Yeah cool, cheers for that guys. I'm in Wollongong so not sure if there are many stunters out that way? Probably Sydney?
F4i's sound like they can cop a bit of a beating, so maybe best for a beginner lol
