Hey guys.

My reasons for putting up the beast for sale can be found here:
http://www.streetfighters.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=23018
...the gist of which is after some ongoing fussing the missus gave me the ultimatum, and she's beaten the bike by a nose :P So I'm gonna be a cager now :(

The Beast (original name, no?) is a muscle of a bike, a 1991 ZXR750 - J1 model. It has a clear title and single seat mod plate, and I have (with the help of a fair few of you gents on here!) been modding it for about 4 months since I started full-time work again in Feb this year, but have owned it for about 9 months now. I had plans to fiber glass rear fairings and paint the bike black but that's all gone to shit now.

Replacements made in the last 4 months:

[8]I had a shop in South Brisbane swap an engine in at 54,000km engine with another 91 model engine (31,000km) because the old one had a bottom end rattle. New engine is tight and fresh. That little exercise alone cost me $1700 for supply of parts, tune and install! Sadly I've only done ~800kms since.
[8]It has a single seat modification plate.
[8]A set of OEM, fully refurbished ZX7R carburetors imported from the USA have been fitted and tuned.
[8]Heavy duty Clutch plates and springs - both EBC branded, also a genuine Kawasaki gasket was used in the install.
[8]Front brake lines, rear brake line and hydraulic clutch line with extended, braided HEL lines.
[8]Adjustable Clutch and brake levers with black CNC machined levers.
[8]Exhaust Collars and locking nuts
[8]New UNI air filter
[8]New Castrol semi synth oil flushed through every month (seems excessive but I like to have smooth gears)
[8]New NGK plugs
[8]New Battery
[8]New Michelin Pilot front tyre (880 kms on it)
[8]Front fork L and R oils and seal replacement.
[8]Both front brake pads (EBC again)
[8]New Fuel hoses and filter

Mods - bought in the last 4 months also:

[8]Custom Rear end made by crazymofo - Joe
[8]CF look arrow LED indicators
[8]Vapor Trail Tech Computer (Stealth model) for USD forks
[8]Vapor Temp Sensor kit (25MM Radiator insert)
[8]CPR 1 1/8" Fat bars
[8]Pro Taper Fat Bar rubber mount kit
[8]Pro Taper 1 1/8 Synergy Grips
[8]49-54mm Chrome Headlight brackets
[8]3-pin LED indicator relay rectifier
[8]Dominator Headlight (not copies, bright)
[8]Rear tail light and number plate bracket unit
[8]Bar end mirrors - Cafe style

Gear (8 months old):

I've not worn the gear much as my bike has spent most of it's time with me in the garage on a stand! But I love grease so there you go :P

[8] Zeus Dual Sport Helmet (Silver) with visor. Medium.
[8] Shift Vendetta Leather jacket. This thing was cost 445 new in but it is the best damn jacket I've ever owned.
[8] Rjays gloves.

Other Parts:

[8]I've just bought a heat wrap and rivets to cut down the carbon fiber slip on exhaust and wrap the steel section but I'm not going to due to the sale of course. So they come with the bike. And all the OEM parts in a big ol' box of course, incl. Fairings, clip-ons, bolts, headlights, gauges, original sub frame and so forth.

I keep all my expenses in an Excel worksheet, I don't hang onto receipts beyond entering them in the spreadsheet. I've spent $5912.17 on the bike, of course not including registration, insurance, consumables, etc. $719 is what the gear cost me new. God knows how much I've spent on consumables!!! :P So I'm letting it go a solid bike for not much at all.

So there it is. I've been as thorough as I can in describing the ins and outs I've put into this machine. It doesn't come with a RWC of course, although I have a friend who is 'streetfighter-friendly' for RWCs, he only wanted to do one if it was for me, and not for someone else. Knowing you lot though I'm sure there are similar arrangements out there.

I've decided $2200 is a fair enough price for it. Still want a good home for it though.

Cheers again

I'll be taking more recent pictures when the sun is out.

Sorry you gotta do this mate. Is it rego'd?

I could do with a little runaround.

Anyone know how much it costs to get a bike from QLD to NSW?

Take care mate.
