Mechanical seal for water pump ?

I'm chasing a mechanical seal for a early (89) kwaka water pump, faggotry sez buy a new pump at $335 a shot fuck that !

Anybody know where to pick em up , and nope not an off the shelf item at the local bearning supply place (good shop to not much they cant find) Metric seems to be the main issue. Heaps of imp jobbies but nothing that will come close. 12mm shaft.

I really dont want to have to adapt something, if this goes on much longer I'll just go electric.

No idea jimmy seems to be all secret squirrel stuff as far as factory is concerned, 12 mm shaft hat type with 27.5 mm "hat" Might just have to addapt a 1/2 inch imperial on to suit as there all over (electric water pump seals for pool stuff)

ummm i used to have loads of the CX ones [thay always went are were a bugger to put in ]cant for the life of me remember what size they were tho
